For this task the customer wanted a replacement gate. Straightforward enough but they also wanted a rotten gatepost replacing. A little more effort required then! The post was over forty years old and extremely well embedded in a 2 foot diameter, 2 foot deep, concrete foundation. Set between two walkways, that beast took a couple hours to break up and dig out. It also required a lot more new concrete to seat the new post than would be normal! After sorting out the post, hanging the new custom made gate was a breeze.
