Some of you have clearly been on tenterhooks waiting for the third instalment of the shed show. Well here it is my friends – the third shed this week!!! This was a bigger task than the other two. An existing 9×7 timber shed first needed tearing down and hauling off to the waste recycling centre. It was rotten beyond reasonable repair. The remaining concrete pad was too uneven to accommodate the replacement plastic shed so a timber frame base was constructed and coated in weatherproof paint. Finally the shiny new 16,000 piece shed kit with its 200 page ‘chinglish’ instruction manual complete with diagrams drawn by a 5yr old was assembled with absolutely no temper-tantrum or cursing needed. Humour aside – these lightweight polycarbonate sheds seem flimsy as you build them but surprisingly robust when fully assembled.
