Several tasks at this address but one of the more unusual was a repair to a very sturdy pair of gates. The gate ring latch had broken off and needed replacing. Also for some reason when originally installed the timber overlap installed to cover the gap between the gates (itself somewhat odd) was cut into top and bottom sections around the latch-arm rather than being a continuous length. So fitted a new latch and a new continuous batten with a rebate to accommodate the latch-arm and limiter. Only a little detail but it looks so much better.
