Another kitchen tap – another different ceramic valve. Kitchen tap repairs are usually very straightforward albeit a bit of a nuisance since you can’t know which replacement valves you need until you dissemble the tap and get the old ones out. There are too many to keep them all on the Eaglescliffe & Yarm Handyman Van so often it means a break in proceedings for a trip to the hardware store to acquire replacements. Sometimes the difference between two or three different valves is just one millimetre!!! Back to the customers house, install and done. It’s rarely the case that the whole tap needs to be replaced. Unless of course the customer fancies a new tap!
